Welcome to the IGNATIUS website.

This website is dedicated to the IGNATIUS-project; IGNATIUS stands for induction and guidance of newly appointed teachers in European schools.

During this project, from 1 December 2007 until 30 November 2009, models of guidance & induction and training courses were developed for those involved in the induction and guidance of newly appointed-teachers.

A unique characteristic of this project is the cooperation of 6 national tandems of Teacher Education Institutes and schools.
